KATE'S BIO (written by her on Sep 6, 2006 (She sent it to me, please credit my website and me if you put it into your website))

Kate Sargeant started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of eleven as “Emily” in the cult classic film 3 Ninjas, directed by Jon Turteltaub. After appearing in numerous films, television shows, and commercials, she went on to attend U.C. Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in English and Dramatic Arts. While in London earning her Master’s Degree in Text and Performance Studies from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Kate wrote, directed, and produced her original play Revolving Door. After its successful three week run in London, Kate took her production on tour to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it received rave reviews. Upon returning to the States, Kate has worked in various areas of the entertainment industry: as a casting assistant on Superman Returns, as a casting associate on the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced Close to Home, and currently as the Executive Assistant to Jonathan Shapiro, the Executive Producer for the new Fox show Justice. Kate recently wrote, directed, and produced her first short film, Another Foreign Concept, and continues to develop her own projects for the stage and screen.
